Buldak. It means ‘Fire Chicken.” So said Danny Feinman. And Google. And most importantly, those wonderful Koreans who developed their own special take on fried chicken.
I should clarify. Buldak isn’t actually a fried chicken dish; instead, it is more akin to BBQ chicken with rice and some veggies. But it’s fun to say and served as the partial inspiration and rallying cry for me to finally post something on this blog/review site.
I’ll keep this introductory post short, but I do need to thank Danny Feinman who bugged me for months to start reviewing fried chicken sandwiches. I’m over a year late to actually doing it, and the fried chicken sandwich craze is long past its peak, but I still enjoy them, and I need to start somewhere.
So here we go. Maybe people will read this. Maybe not. But I intend to keep posting about friend chicken, about tech, about life, about whatever I feel like.
It is my site after all. And always remember Buldak. It means fire chicken.
